Designed by offshore medics for offshore medics, this new distance learning course is totally unique and raises the standard of offshore medical team capability.

This distance learning course is designed to increase the knowledge and efficiency of offshore first aiders delegated to be members of the emergency first aid team. This enables them to become more effective in assisting the Medic or Doctor in advanced life saving procedures.

The training is aimed at turning any offshore first aid organisation into a quick response resuscitation team, similar to that of a hospital Accident & Emergency Department.

All lessons, practical training sessions and assessments are conducted by the onboard Medic in the workplace, with all training materials provided by Knight Medical.


The onboard Medic will receive a comprehensive trainer’s pack containing the instructor manual & course syllabus, lesson plans, and training handouts.

Each student will receive their own competency task book. This must be fully completed and signed off by the onboard Medic before the training course Certificate of Achievement and Team T-shirt are awarded.
